Izzy S.O, born in the West Midlands, grew up immersed in the world of musical expression and creativity. Initially, her creative journey began with poetry, providing an avenue to process her emotions and experiences. As time passed, this passion evolved into songwriting, especially during the pandemic when she collaborated with producer Dustin Dooley. It was during this collaboration that Izzy honed her distinctive sound, a blend of alt-pop, pop-rock, and indie, drawing inspiration from iconic female artists such as Alanis Morisette, Mazzy Star, and Avril Lavigne. Izzy's genuine expression and emotive songwriting offer a perfect soundtrack for healing. Today Izzy S.O returns with the beautiful new single ‘Would We Make It’. Alongside its release, Izzy shares news of her sophomore EP ‘Silly Me’ due for release on the 17th of November.
Would We Make It is the third track to be revealed from Izzy S.O’s upcoming second EP Silly Me. The new single follows recent release Without You I Don’t Like Sundays, which came out last month. The catchy dose of nostalgia touched on the essential phase of rebuilding after a breakup.
